Abstract Format

Abstract submission is open online until 15 October 2024.
All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission system (https://submit.confbay.com/component/user/register?acid=1522).
Submission via other means such as post, email, fax or any are not allowed.
The abstract should be written in English OR Bahasa Melayu, but not in a mixture of both.
The ABSTRACT TITLE must be clear, concise, and grammatically correct. Please avoid using abbreviations on the title.
Late submissions will NOT be entertained.

Submission Evaluation Process

All submissions received by the deadline will be peer-reviewed by the WCC 2025 Committee and are expected to meet the scientific criteria of novelty and academic excellence. Originality, relevancy, research method, result presentation, conclusion, structure, and format are considered for the evaluation process.
The review process is confidential, and the decision is final. A notification of acceptance/rejection will be issued within 7-14 days after submission.
Authors may opt for oral presentation but the decision of the type of presentation is based on the merit of the submission and the decision of the Scientific Committee is final.

Types Of Session Presentations

There are two (2) types of session presentations

Oral paper session:
- Each paper session, grouped by the scientific committee, consists of 3 oral presentations (15 minutes each and 5 minutes of Q&A).
- These sessions are for scientific communication, discussion on practice and theory, or reflection on experimentation and can be in English or Bahasa Melayu.
- The proposals shall be highly scientific and should be linked to the conference themes.
- Examples of types of papers are research papers and work-in-progress papers.
- One of the authors must register and physically/virtually attend the Conference.
Poster:
- The poster size is A0 maximum (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm PORTRAIT size). We kindly ask the authors to be present during their allocated poster session slot and to prepare a 2-3-minute presentation of their poster in English or Bahasa Melayu.
- We also recommend preparing A4 handouts or QR codes for more information. A poster may present a work in progress.
- The proposals shall be highly scientific and/or innovative and should be linked to the conference themes.
- All proposals must be submitted in English or Bahasa Melayu and will be reviewed by two members of the scientific committee.
- Examples of types of papers are conceptual papers and work-in-progress papers.
- One of the authors must register and physically attend the Conference.

The conference convenors would like to invite counsellors, academics, professionals, researchers, and students to come together to share their insights, experiences, and research findings in the field of helping profession.
